About This Machine
New Orlean's is an exceptionally rare electro-mechanical pinball machine attributed to Williams and dated to October 1948. According to available records it never reached production: it exists only as a single prototype, and the project was canceled, making it one of the true curiosities of postwar pinball history.
Because the game was shelved before release, almost nothing is documented about its intended gameplay beyond the illuminated backglass typical of machines of the period. As a canceled one-off, it survives today as a footnote in the early history of Williams pinball.
