Flip Out!

Flip Out! is an exceptionally rare curiosity from Data East USA, dating to 1991. Records list only a single unit ever produced, marking it as a one-off machine rather than a commercial release. Built as a solid-state game for up to four players, it carried an alphanumeric score display typical of the era.

Because only one example is documented and the title never reached the general market, little detailed information survives about its theme or gameplay. It stands today as an obscure footnote in Data East's early-1990s output, of interest chiefly to collectors and historians tracking the company's unproduced and prototype work.
