Wizard Blocks
About This Machine
Wizard Blocks is a solid state prototype developed by Williams Electronic Games, Inc., dated October 1999 and built on the Williams Pinball 2000 platform. That platform combined a physical pinball playfield with a reflected video display, and Wizard Blocks was one of its unreleased titles.
The design was configured for up to four players with four flippers, two ramps, a four-ball multiball mode, and a video/TV-screen display characteristic of Pinball 2000. A very high listed price of around $15,000 reflects its status as a prototype rather than a production unit.
Wizard Blocks never reached commercial release and exists only as a canceled prototype, coinciding with Williams' exit from the pinball business. The record was sourced from the Pinside machine database and had not yet been added to IPDB.
