Black Spider-Man

Black Spider-Man is a limited collector's edition solid-state pinball machine released by Stern Pinball in June 2007, tied to the black-suited "symbiote" version of Spider-Man featured in Columbia Pictures' Spider-Man 3. It runs on Stern's SAM platform with a dot-matrix display and offers three flippers, three ramps, four-ball multiball, and four-player play.

Strictly limited to 500 units worldwide, the Black edition dressed up Stern's standard Spider-Man with premium collector touches: new black-suited cabinet and backbox art, a mirrored backglass, web-shaped chrome side armor and trim, a shaker motor, a numbered plaque, and a Certificate of Authenticity signed by Gary Stern. Its small run and special appointments have made it a sought-after variant among collectors.
