Shrek

Shrek is a solid-state pinball machine released by Stern Pinball in August 2008, based on DreamWorks' Shrek animated film franchise. It runs on Stern's SAM system with a dot-matrix display, and offers ramps, multiball, and multi-player competition.

Shrek is a re-theme of Stern's 2007 Family Guy pinball machine, sharing the same playfield layout and gameplay while swapping in Shrek artwork, sound, and humor. The family-friendly makeover let Stern market the same game to a broader, all-ages audience, particularly in Europe, where it saw much of its distribution. It was produced in a comparatively small run of around 600 units.
