About This Machine
Avatar (Limited Edition) is a solid-state pinball machine released by Stern Pinball in November 2010, based on James Cameron's blockbuster science-fiction film Avatar. Built on Stern's SAM hardware platform and featuring a dot-matrix display, the game brings the world of Pandora to the playfield with a single ramp, four-ball multiball, and support for up to four players.
The Limited Edition was the premium tier of Stern's Avatar release, produced in a run of just 250 units. As the collector-oriented version, it was aimed at enthusiasts who wanted a more exclusive build than the standard Pro model, and its small production number makes it considerably rarer than its Pro counterpart.
