Sorcerer's Apprentice

Sorcerer's Apprentice is a magic-themed game kit for the Multimorphic P3 pinball platform, launched in August 2021 at an MSRP of $499. It runs on the P3's Cosmic Cart Racing playfield module and casts the player as an apprentice mage whose ultimate goal is to defeat the sorcerer in a climactic battle of magic.

Players journey through multiple environments, including The Bazaar, The Dunes, The Workshop, and The Dungeon, making shots to collect spells for their growing repertoire, gathering useful items, and finding keys that open treasure chests along the way. Each environment contains four modes, including its own multiball, and a stackable overarching Black Magic Multiball adds further chaos.

The game was designed by Rory Cernuda, who also handled graphics, with programming by Greg Goldey, and it showcases how Multimorphic's software-driven platform can deliver an entirely new game experience on existing hardware.
