Cactus Canyon (Remake - Special Edition Plus)

Cactus Canyon (Remake - Special Edition Plus) is one of several editions of Chicago Gaming Company's 2021 remake of Bally's 1998 Western-themed Cactus Canyon. The original machine's production run was cut short when Williams left the pinball business in 1998, and CGC's remake finally gave the well-liked design a full release, complete with modern components.

In this four-player solid-state game, players star as a frontier sheriff taking on outlaws across the playfield's two flippers, three ramps, and three multiball modes, with an LCD display handling the show. The Special Edition Plus, which entered production in November 2021, slots between the base Special Edition and the Limited Edition in CGC's lineup.

The remake series brought Cactus Canyon to far more players than the scarce 1998 original ever could, and it remains a popular family-friendly title thanks to its lighthearted cowboy theme.
