TreeHouse Club
About This Machine
TreeHouse Club is a one-of-a-kind home-brew pinball machine completed by Austrian builder Stefan Mader in October 2022. A two-player solid-state game, it packs three flippers, six ramps, and an LCD display into an unusually compact layout that emphasizes vertical action, including both an upper and a lower playfield.
The game's charming premise follows three kids in a treehouse: each kid represents one of your balls, and when a ball drains, a kid has to leave the treehouse. During the day the kids work to build up their braveness, and once they are brave enough the game transitions into night. Animations play on a screen at the back of the machine, while GI LED strips light the objects on the playfield.
Only a single unit was ever produced, and Mader documented the build process publicly in the Pinside homebrew community, where the project drew attention for its inventive theme and unconventional playfield geometry.
