Queen (Champions Edition)

Queen (Champions Edition) is Pinball Brothers' July 2022 tribute to the legendary British rock band, and the standard version of the company's Queen pinball release. Fully licensed, the four-player solid-state game launched at US$9,295 and celebrates the band's live legacy with fourteen concert recordings, including 'Bohemian Rhapsody,' 'We Will Rock You,' 'We Are The Champions,' 'Another One Bites The Dust,' and 'Radio Ga Ga.'

The centerpiece of the playfield is a recreation of Brian May's famous Red Special guitar, realized as an upper playfield with its own single flipper -- making this a three-flipper game -- where players can lock balls to start the Red Special multiball. The game also features metal and wireform ramps, two spinners, an 18.5-inch LCD display backed by an 8-inch bass speaker, and custom voice-overs recorded by band members Brian May and Roger Taylor.

The Champions Edition shares its playfield and software with the pricier Limited Rhapsody Edition; the differences are cosmetic, with the LRE adding gold trim, illuminated cabinet artwork, and other premium touches. For fans who wanted the full Queen gameplay experience without the collector premium, the Champions Edition delivered it.
