Texas Chainsaw Massacre (Blood Sucker Edition)

Texas Chainsaw Massacre (Blood Sucker Edition) is the mid-tier version of Spooky Pinball's 2023 horror title, announced in December 2023 with a planned MSRP of $8,999. Based on the landmark 1974 slasher film, the game continues Spooky's "one playfield, two games" concept first used with Halloween and Ultraman, sharing its four-flipper, standard-width playfield design with a companion title, with total production limited to 888 machines spread across three editions according to demand.

The playfield, designed by Corwin Emery and Spooky Luke, packs in four flippers and four ramps along with signature toys including an interactive Leatherface "kill door" bash toy and a meat-grinding ball lock mechanism. Game code comes from Benjamin Heckendorn, returning to Spooky for this title, while artist Christopher Franchi contributed the playfield and plastics artwork in his first project for the company.

The Blood Sucker Edition slots between the Standard Edition and the top-end Collector's Edition in Spooky's lineup, priced $700 below the Collector's Edition. It reflects the Wisconsin manufacturer's established niche of limited-run, horror-themed machines built for collectors.
