Space Hunt

Space Hunt is the debut pinball machine from HEXA Pinball, a boutique manufacturer based in Bordeaux, France, which entered production in May 2023 and made its public debut at the Pontacq Pinball Show that June. Founded by a collective of enthusiasts, HEXA set out to build a 100% French-made pinball machine, and Space Hunt is the result.

The game tells an original science-fiction story: the player embodies Spherus, the last free member of a people enslaved by the Space Hunters and hunted for hundreds of years, who receives unexpected help that shifts the balance of power. The playfield is a full-featured modern design with three flippers, three ramps, and multiball play, backed by an LCD display.

Presentation is a major focus, with an immersive original soundtrack featuring custom voice work, a three-channel stereo amplifier, and 120 RGB LEDs lighting the playfield. The machine also offers modern conveniences such as a fully digital menu accessible via an app and an unusual pause system. Space Hunt was offered in two versions, Standard and Elegance.
