Quidditch for Harry Potter

Quidditch for Harry Potter is a one-of-a-kind homebrew pinball machine completed by builder Ryan Soppe in January 2023. Themed around Quidditch, the fictional broomstick sport from the Harry Potter series, it is a two-player, solid-state game built as a personal project, with just a single unit produced.

The machine takes a charmingly retro approach to its presentation: despite its modern solid-state electronics, scoring is shown on mechanical reels rather than a digital display. The playfield uses a classic two-flipper layout without ramps, keeping the focus on traditional shot-making.

Like most homebrew builds, Quidditch for Harry Potter was never sold commercially and exists only as a unique creation, documented through the Pinside homebrew community. It stands as an example of the thriving hobbyist scene in which enthusiasts design and build fully playable machines around themes the commercial industry has never tackled.
