Final Resistance

Final Resistance is a March 2023 release for the Multimorphic P3 pinball platform, available either as a game kit for existing P3 owners or as a complete machine with the playfield module installed. Themed around a team of humans battling to save the planet from an alien onslaught, its gameplay is designed in the tradition of late-1980s alphanumeric-era machines.

The game was created by Scott Danesi, his third Multimorphic title, who composed the music and sound; the team included Bowen Kerins on the ruleset, T.J. Weaver on mechanical engineering, Rory Cernuda on video graphics and animation, Jonathan Bergeron on artwork, and Michael Ocean on software. The playfield module is dominated by an imposing alien spaceship with a three-ball rapid-fire cannon and active defenses, alongside multi-function orbits, two ramps, and a bi-directional scoop, with the P3's interactive lower playfield providing dynamic artwork and virtual light inserts.

Deliberately designed as a two-flipper game, Final Resistance supports up to four players and launched at $3,400 for the game kit, or $11,700 for a complete P3 base unit with the game installed.
