Asterix and Obelix

Asterix and Obelix is a one-of-a-kind home-brew pinball machine built by Stefan Mader and completed in September 2023. Themed around the beloved French comic characters, it is a solid-state game for up to two players featuring four flippers, four ramps, and an LCD display.

As a home-brew project with only a single unit produced, Asterix and Obelix was never commercially available. It stands as an example of the thriving hobbyist pinball scene, where individual builders design, wire, and program complete custom machines around themes the commercial industry has not tackled.
