Alien (Ellen Ripley Version)

Alien (Ellen Ripley Version) is a 2023 release from Swedish manufacturer Pinball Brothers, an upgraded edition of their Alien pinball machine that pays tribute to the films' iconic protagonist. Released in October 2023, this widebody game immerses players in the universe of the first two Alien films, with players fighting through original scenes from both Alien and Aliens, including new game modes featuring Ellen Ripley that span the game from the attract sequence to the Self Destruct and Loader Battle wizard modes.

The playfield is packed with theme-appropriate hardware: a ball-eating Xenomorph toy flanked by RGB-lit bash targets, a physical three-ball Hypersleep Chamber lock, three color-changing molded egg pop bumpers, jumping facehugger slingshots, and a 5-inch Airlock LCD screen in addition to the main 18.5-inch display. Four flippers, three ramps, and six multiball modes keep the action frantic, backed by a full RGB LED lighting system.

The Ellen Ripley Version is distinguished by its upgraded presentation, including a sculpted and hand-painted frame for the mini-display, an apron decal with a metal effect, a hand-painted Xenomorph, and a new Loader Battle-inspired translite, with cabinet art drawing on both Alien and Aliens.
