The Uncanny X-Men (Pro)

The Uncanny X-Men (Pro) is the entry model of Stern Pinball's September 2024 Marvel title, designed by Jack Danger and running on the SPIKE 2 system. The game draws on the classic Uncanny X-Men comics and the Days of Future Past storyline, illustrated in comic-book style by Jeremy Packer (Zombie Yeti), with an original soundtrack composed by Charlie Benante of Anthrax and Pantera.

The Pro shares the title's distinctive layout of crossing shots and ramps with surprising ball trajectories, headlined by the Danger Room area to the left of the main flippers, where a mini-flipper and a novel outlane spinner create a high-risk, high-reward experience. Players battle a mechanically articulated Sentinel whose large robotic head changes state based on the player's actions; the under-playfield rising Sentinel mechanism is reserved for the Premium and Limited Edition models.

A four-player game with three flippers, seven ramps, three multiball modes, and an LCD display, the Pro launched at an MSRP of $6,999 in September 2024 and remains the most accessible way into the X-Men's fight to save the future.
