The Uncanny X-Men (Premium)

The Uncanny X-Men (Premium) is the mid-tier model of Stern Pinball's September 2024 Marvel release, designed by Jack Danger on the SPIKE 2 system. The game celebrates the classic comic era of the X-Men, with comic-book-style artwork by Jeremy Packer (Zombie Yeti) and an original soundtrack composed by Charlie Benante of Anthrax and Pantera.

Like the Pro and Limited Edition, the Premium features an unconventional layout with crossing shots and the new Danger Room area to the left of the main flippers, which combines a mini-flipper with a novel outlane spinner for high-risk, high-reward play. The Premium shares the Limited Edition's fully mechanized Sentinel, which rises from beneath the playfield and fights back against the player, as well as the elevated captive-ball vari-target themed as Beast's Lab.

A four-player game with three flippers, five ramps, and three multiball modes, the Premium launched at an MSRP of $9,699 in September 2024.
