The Uncanny X-Men (LE)

The Uncanny X-Men (Limited Edition) is Stern Pinball's top-tier version of its September 2024 Marvel title, designed by Jack Danger and built on the SPIKE 2 system. Drawing on the classic comic run and the Days of Future Past storyline, the game features comic-book-style artwork by Jeremy Packer (Zombie Yeti) and an original soundtrack composed by Charlie Benante of Anthrax and Pantera.

The layout is unusual for a modern Stern, with crossing shots, six ramps, and the all-new Danger Room area to the left of the main flippers, offering a high-risk, high-reward experience with a mini-flipper and a novel outlane spinner. The centerpiece is a mechanically articulated Sentinel that players battle throughout the game; on the Limited Edition it rises from beneath the playfield and fights back, blocking ramps and attacking the ball. The LE also includes the elevated captive-ball vari-target themed as Beast's Lab.

The Limited Edition was restricted to 811 units, a nod to Earth-811, the alternate timeline in which the Days of Future Past story is set. It carried an MSRP of $12,999 at launch and supports up to four players with three flippers and five multiball modes.
