Everdell
About This Machine
Everdell is a one-of-a-kind home-brew pinball machine completed in April 2024, built as a re-theme of a late-1970s Williams solid state game running on the Williams System 4 platform. Exactly one unit was produced, making it a true custom project rather than a commercial release.
The machine carries the woodland charm of the Everdell theme onto a classic three-flipper Williams layout, retaining the era's digital score displays and straightforward, skill-focused gameplay. As with most re-themes, the original playfield geometry provides the bones while new artwork and identity transform the game's character.
Everdell stands as an example of the thriving home-brew corner of the pinball hobby, where enthusiasts give vintage hardware a second life with entirely new themes. It supports up to four players, just as its System 4 donor did more than four decades earlier.
