Star Wars: Fall of the Empire (Premium)
About This Machine
Star Wars: Fall of the Empire (Premium) is the middle trim of Stern Pinball's September 2025 Star Wars line, designed by industry veteran John Borg, whose career comes full circle here - his first game as lead designer was Data East's 1992 Star Wars. The game launched on Stern's next-generation SPIKE 3 platform, which brings a larger 18.5-inch full HD display, a more powerful processor, a new immersive audio system, more efficient power handling, improved Wi-Fi, and wireless headphone capability.
Players relive the original trilogy's biggest moments: destroying the Death Star II, taking down an AT-AT, and activating the Millennium Falcon's hyperdrive. The signature toy is the Death Star with its motorized door, which opens after repeated hits to lock balls - lock three and they fire back out onto the right flipper to launch Death Star Multiball. The Premium also includes the Jedi magnetic ball saver, letting players 'use the Force' to save a draining ball.
With two flippers, four ramps, and six multiball modes, the Premium launched at an MSRP of $9,699, between the Pro and the 770-unit Limited Edition.
