Star Wars: Fall of the Empire (LE)
About This Machine
Star Wars: Fall of the Empire (Limited Edition) is the top trim of Stern Pinball's September 2025 Star Wars line, designed by industry veteran John Borg - a full-circle moment, as Borg's first game as lead designer was Data East's 1992 Star Wars. The game is among the first to launch on Stern's next-generation SPIKE 3 platform, featuring a larger 18.5-inch full HD display, a more powerful processor, a new immersive audio system, improved Wi-Fi, and wireless headphone support.
Gameplay drops players into the original trilogy's climactic battles: destroy the Death Star II, take down an AT-AT, and activate the Millennium Falcon's hyperdrive. The centerpiece toy is the Death Star, with a motorized door that opens after enough hits to lock balls; once three balls are locked, they fire back out onto the right flipper to begin Death Star Multiball. A Jedi magnetic ball saver lets players 'use the Force' to rescue draining balls.
The Limited Edition was restricted to 770 units in the initial launch territories and carried an MSRP of $12,999, sitting above the Pro and Premium models with exclusive cosmetic and feature upgrades across its two flippers, four ramps, and four multiball modes.
