Dungeons & Dragons: The Tyrant’s Eye (Pro)
About This Machine
Dungeons & Dragons: The Tyrant's Eye (Pro) is the entry model of Stern Pinball's January 2025 release based on the legendary tabletop role-playing game. Designed by industry veteran Brian Eddy with game code led by Dwight Sullivan, the four-player game runs on Stern's SPIKE 2 system and launched at an MSRP of $6,999.
Players take on the role of adventurers battling a tyrannical beholder across a campaign of dungeon-crawling modes. The line's highlights include an animatronic dragon, a pop-up "Dungeon Crawl" scoop, and a magnetic Gelatinous Cube trap, and the Pro layout offers three flippers, three ramps, and multiball play with up to six balls, all presented on a modern LCD display.
The game also introduced Stern's "PinSave" system, which lets players suspend a game in progress and resume it later, a fitting mechanic for a license built on long-running campaigns. The Tyrant's Eye was offered in Pro, Premium, and Limited Edition models, with the Pro making the adventure accessible to the widest audience.
