Dungeons & Dragons: The Tyrant's Eye (Premium) is the mid-tier model of Stern Pinball's January 2025 release celebrating the world's most famous tabletop role-playing game. Designed by industry veteran Brian Eddy with game code led by Dwight Sullivan, the four-player game runs on Stern's SPIKE 2 system and carries an MSRP of $9,699.

The game casts players as adventurers on a campaign against a tyrannical beholder. Standout features include an animatronic dragon, a pop-up "Dungeon Crawl" scoop, and a magnetic Gelatinous Cube trap that snares the ball mid-adventure. The layout offers three flippers and three ramps, with multiball action reaching up to eight balls, all narrated on a modern LCD display.

A notable innovation is the "PinSave" system, which allows players to suspend a game in progress and resume it later, echoing the campaign structure of the source material. The Tyrant's Eye launched in Pro, Premium, and Limited Edition models, with the Premium slotting between the $6,999 Pro and the 740-unit, $12,999 LE.
