About This Machine

Beetlejuice is Spooky Pinball's November 2025 release based on the 1988 Tim Burton film about the wisecracking "bio-exorcist" who can only be summoned by saying his name three times. Announced in October 2025 as a single edition limited to 999 machines at an MSRP of $9,999, the game proved an immediate hit: most of the run was pre-sold through Spooky's distributor network, and direct sales to customers sold out within minutes of orders opening.

The machine features artwork by Christopher Franchi, one of modern pinball's most celebrated artists, whose bold style blends comic-book vibrancy with lifelike detail. The four-player, LCD-equipped game incorporates themes, film footage, and audio from the original movie, plus a unique voice-control feature called "Spooky Speak."

At the heart of the playfield sits the Sandworm mech, a twist on the traditional bash toy: players shoot drop targets to gain access to the Sandworm, then fire into its mouth to defeat it, with the mech registering both direct hits and shots to the targets hidden beneath it. Buyers could also opt for an animatronic topper in place of the standard static one, and high-gloss "butter" cabinet decals at the time of ordering.
