About This Machine

The Venom Limited Edition pinball machine from Stern Pinball marks a notable release in the company's 2023 lineup. As one of several licensed, fantasy-themed releases that year, it reflects the ongoing trend toward licensed themes in modern pinball design. Designed by Brian Eddy, Venom brings an edgy, comics-inspired experience to the table.

Gameplay-wise, Venom boasts an array of features, including six active pinballs, a VUK, and a captive ball system. Players can expect intense action from the multiball mode, facilitated by the machine's slingshots, pop bumpers, and flippers. The Newton Ball Post adds an extra layer of challenge and complexity to the gameplay experience, and a shaker motor adds physical feedback.

The Venom Limited Edition features striking design elements, including dark blue high-gloss sparkle powder-coated and clear-coated armor, a mirrored backglass in place of a translite, playfield art blades, and decal cabinet artwork with anti-reflection playfield glass. Stern produced a confirmed 1,000 units of this edition; each came with a serialized number plate, a Certificate of Authenticity signed by Seth Davis, and a playfield apron autographed by designer Brian Eddy. The Limited Edition carried an MSRP of $12,999 when new.
