Twin Pirate Gun

Twin Pirate Gun is an electro-mechanical shooting gallery game manufactured by Midway in June 1974 — as its name indicates, a two-player gun game rather than a flipper pinball machine, built around a pirates-and-adventure theme.

As a gun game, Twin Pirate Gun (model 569) has players shoot at targets rather than control flippers or ramps; specific rules and target layouts are not well documented. Its pirate-themed cabinet art evokes swashbuckling treasure-hunting adventure typical of Midway's shooting gallery line from this era.

According to The Cash Box (June 29, 1974), sample games shipped the week prior to that issue. Little else is documented about the machine's specific designer or feature set, but as a two-player gun game from Midway's mid-1970s catalog, it represents a lesser-known corner of the company's output alongside its more famous flipper pinball titles.
