Treasure Hunt
About This Machine
Treasure Hunt is a rare and enigmatic electro-mechanical one-ball payout machine with an Adventure theme; its manufacturer and production year are unknown, and no information about it survives beyond a single flyer. Despite this, its documented features offer some insight into its design and gameplay.
The machine is built around 14 trap holes and a single Free Play hole. This was not uncommon for EM payout games of its type, but the number of trap holes suggests a game with many distinct scoring targets. The Free Play hole would have let players earn additional credited plays without inserting more coins.
The cabinet measured 44 inches long and 20 inches wide. Without further documentation of its artwork, designer, or exact release date, Treasure Hunt remains a genuine mystery of pinball history, known only through the surviving advertising flyer that records its existence.
