Bug-A-Boo
About This Machine
Bug-A-Boo, credited to Games, Incorporated of Chicago in 1955, is not a standalone pinball machine — available evidence suggests it was actually a conversion backglass, not a separately sold game. No advertising has been found for an "electronic upright" called Bug-A-Boo, which points to it being an otherwise-unadvertised alternate backglass offered by Games, Incorporated for their existing game, The Hunter.
The backglass carries "Fruit Symbols" artwork, and the deliberately non-descriptive name Bug-A-Boo is consistent with the coin-machine industry's practice of avoiding names that might draw attention to any gambling implications of these games.
Because it was likely sold only as a conversion option rather than a complete machine, very little independent documentation of Bug-A-Boo exists beyond the flyer that records its name and artwork.
