Twin Trail Blazer
About This Machine
The Twin Trail Blazer, manufactured by Games, Incorporated of Chicago and announced in February 1961, is not a pinball machine but a two-player "electronic upright," or "flasher type" device. As with similar machines, it does not pay out cash — a credit meter increments instead to allow continued play.
Like its single-player predecessor, the 1960 Trail Blazer, the Twin Trail Blazer carries the "Magic Viewer" feature, advertised as providing depth perception of the lightglass to enhance the scoring display. Its cabinet was advertised at 53 inches high, 30 inches wide, and 18 inches deep.
Little further documentation exists on the Twin Trail Blazer's specific design or theme, but as the two-player companion to Trail Blazer, it reflects Games, Incorporated's continued development of the Magic Viewer concept into 1961.
