About This Machine
DR. NO (James Bond 007 Pro) is Stern Pinball's Pro Edition entry in its 2022 James Bond 007 lineup, released in October 2022 and designed by George Gomez with art by Kevin O'Connor. Built on the Stern SPIKE 2 system, it brings Ian Fleming's spy franchise to the playfield, taking its cabinet and backglass name from the 1962 film that introduced 007 to Hollywood audiences.
The game features three flippers, two pop bumpers, two slingshots, eight standup targets, a vertical up-kicker, a 3-bank drop target, a kick-out hole, a spinning target, and a scoop, plus an up-post in the right inlane and an action button on the lockdown bar. Toys include a rocket-and-gantry assembly and a miniature Aston Martin DB5, and the game supports multiball with six installed pinballs.
Visually, DR. NO features powder-coated black wrinkle-finish side armor, hinges, front lockdown molding, and legs, along with a plastic molded bottom arch, and uses a translite in place of a traditional backglass. It carried an MSRP of $6,999 at launch.
