Lost

The Lost pinball machine was presented at Pinball Expo 2011 in Chicago but never went into production, making it a rare, one-of-a-kind prototype. Its theme is based on the TV show Lost, the ABC adventure/mystery series that aired from 2004 to 2010, and the playfield includes toys referencing iconic show imagery: a sunbathing woman, a polar bear, and an airplane.

The gameplay itself is where this solid-state prototype shines. With two flippers and three pop bumpers, players are presented with a dynamic, challenging layout, while a single electromagnet adds a twist to shot opportunities and ball movement.

As a single-unit prototype that never reached wider release, Lost remains a fascinating footnote in pinball history for enthusiasts who track unreleased and one-off machines shown at industry events like Pinball Expo.
