Golf

Golf, manufactured by FAER S.L. (Fábrica de Aparatos Electro Mecánicos Recreativos) of Madrid, is a rare and enigmatic electro-mechanical pinball machine that remains shrouded in mystery. Very little documentation survives: all that has been seen of this machine is its backglass, and a distant, obscured view of a cabinet resembling FAER S.L.'s 'Gran Casino.' The backglass appears to have five score reels, and a possible -- but unconfirmed -- date of 1964 has been suggested for this game.

While specifics about its notable features or designer are not documented, its electro-mechanical construction would have provided the tactile, mechanical sound effects and gameplay typical of EM machines of its era.

Given the scarcity of information on Golf's design, art, or theme, its visual appearance beyond the backglass remains speculative. Nevertheless, as a rare golf-themed entry from FAER S.L., it holds an intriguing place in the history of Spanish pinball, highlighting the ongoing importance of documentation and research in preserving the stories behind these vintage machines.
