Boxing

This mysterious pinball machine, "Boxing", stands out as one of the lesser-known but intriguing creations from Gamecol Animation Technology Co., Ltd. of Guangzhou, China. As a solid-state electronic (SS) game of unknown year, little is documented about its place within pinball history beyond a brief video posted online in August 2021, which appears to show a backbox display with four individual player scores, though this cannot be confirmed.

The gameplay experience on "Boxing" centers around a sports theme, with dual flippers and three pop bumpers providing a dynamic experience. Dual inlanes and two banks of drop targets round out the layout, offering players strategic choices on how to progress through the game.

While specific details about "Boxing"'s design, art, and history are scarce, its boxing theme is a distinctive choice for a pinball machine, and the little that is known - including its Guangzhou-based manufacturer, established in 2009 - makes it an intriguing subject for collectors and researchers of obscure and modern Chinese-made pinball.
