About This Machine

The Bride of Pin·bot 25th Anniversary was a planned remake of Williams' 1991 'The Machine: Bride of Pin·bot,' to be built in the Netherlands by Dutch Pinball under license from Williams Electronics Games, Inc. It was announced for sale at the Texas Pinball Festival in March 2017 as the '25th Anniversary SUPER LE,' with a planned maximum of 150 Super Limited Edition units (100 for the USA, 50 for the rest of the world) priced at $12,500, to be followed by a regular version. However, the game never went into production; reportedly only one non-working prototype was displayed at the 2017 show.

Had it been completed, gameplay would have included a two-ball multiball, an upper-level bagatelle mini-playfield, and two elevated chicane lanes with interwoven paths on the right side. The plunger lane featured an elevated skill shot that dropped the ball to a kicker, launching it into the pop bumper area, and the woman's head in the upper playfield was designed to rotate and show different faces.

Because the game was never produced, most of what is known comes from the flyer and prototype shown at the 2017 Texas Pinball Festival. Its status as an unreleased, single-prototype project makes it a curiosity for collectors and historians rather than a machine that can actually be owned or played today.
