About This Machine

Guns N' Roses "Not In This Lifetime" (listed here as Guns N), designed by Eric Meunier and Saul "Slash" Hudson, was released by Jersey Jack Pinball in January 2021 as a licensed music-themed machine built around the rock band Guns N' Roses. It holds the distinction of being the first Jersey Jack game manufactured at the company's new Elk Grove Village, Illinois facility, after operations moved there from New Jersey in 2020.

The four-player, solid-state machine was produced in extremely limited numbers -- only 10 confirmed units -- making it one of the rarer modern pinball releases. A separate batch of ten specially built "GNR Game Team Edition" machines was made for members of Guns N' Roses and their management, each bearing a plaque with a band or crew member's first name (known examples include Axl, Slash, Duff, and Dizzy) instead of the numbered plaques used on the standard Collector's Edition.

Behind its licensed soundtrack and imagery is a large creative team: art direction from Dayne Henry Jr., Jean-Paul de Win, Arian Buhler, Mark Molitor, and Jesper Abell; sound work from Vikas Deo and Slash himself; and software engineering led by Keith P. Johnson, Joe Katz, Bill Grupp, Duncan Brown, Ted Estes, and JT Harkey. Its scarcity and direct band involvement make it one of the most sought-after modern collectible machines.
