About This Machine

Tiro Olimpic, produced by Eusebio Martinez Garcia of Spain (trade name EMAGAR), is a rare and enigmatic gun game rather than a traditional pinball machine, built around an Olympic riflery theme. Very little of the machine survives today — the only known example is a backglass mounted in a display frame, bearing EMAGAR's four-leaf-clover trademark in the lower right corner. The seller who offered it estimated its date as circa the 1950s, though this has not been confirmed.

Because only the backglass has been documented, the machine's actual gameplay, cabinet, and mechanical features remain unknown. As a 'Not A Pinball' gun game, it likely worked differently from typical flipper-based pinball, probably involving simulated target shooting tied to its Olympic riflery theme rather than ball-and-flipper play.

The backglass artwork evokes the grandeur of Olympic competition, and the EMAGAR branding points to a small Spanish manufacturer whose broader history is not well documented. Tiro Olimpic remains an intriguing curiosity for collectors and historians of early European coin-operated amusements, even though most of its story is lost to time.
