About This Machine

The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (Pro) pinball machine, designed by John Borg with art by Jeremy Packer, was released by Stern Pinball in June 2020. Built on Stern's SPIKE 2 system, it brings the licensed TMNT cartoon and television property to a four-player pinball table.

Gameplay features three flippers, three pop bumpers, three slingshots, five standup targets, two bar targets, a unidirectional spinning disc with a magnet, and a spinning target, along with an up-post in the orbit lane and dual left inlanes. The game supports 3-to-6-ball multiball: an upper-left 3-ball lock mechanism releases balls to an automatically raised flipper that deflects them into the magnet on the spinning disc. A button on the lockdown bar controls gates on the aerial habitrails to stop balls in play. Players can choose from several Game Play Modes enabling either cooperative or competitive play, including features that carry over from player to player.

The Pro model's cabinet uses a powder-coated black wrinkle finish on its side armor, hinges, front lockdown molding, and legs, with a black plastic bottom arch, and a translite in place of a traditional backglass. A non-interactive TMNT van appears as a playfield toy. Interestingly, the spinning target's sticker originally depicted the character Rocksteady before being swapped for Foot Clan artwork ahead of production. The Pro carried an MSRP of $6,099 when new.
