About This Machine
The Football pinball machine, manufactured by Wee Chin Electric Machinery Inc. (WeChe) in February 2019, is a head-to-head, multiplayer pinball game with a soccer/futbol theme. It shares its core design with WeChe's 2019 'Bubbles Pop' — the two are essentially the same game with different artwork.
Key gameplay features include constant multiball play, launched by inserting a coin and starting a game, with an operator-selectable number of balls and play time. The machine allows for up to four players at once, with two sets of flipper buttons — one on the cabinet sides for adult use, one on the top front for child use. Each pair of flippers only responds to the buttons controlling the flippers facing that player's opponent. Goals score 5 points, and gobble holes score 10 points; dropping enough balls into the gobble holes (5 to 15, operator adjustable) awards a free play, as does a tie score.
The Football machine features a transparent plexiglass cover over the center playfield, housing six decorative balls that do not illuminate but are visible as balls roll across the cover during play. The cabinet measures 1,594 mm long, 799 mm wide, and 982.6 mm high. Optional accessories included a poster display sign with LED lighting, a drink holder, and coin/bill/ticket handling hardware, reflecting its intended use as a bar or arcade attraction rather than a home game.
