Maba Belotte

The Maba Belotte is a rare and enigmatic pure mechanical (PM) pinball machine from an unknown manufacturer. Its date of production and origin are undocumented, and even its name is something of a mystery — no French word 'Belotte' has been identified, though Belote is a well-known French card game, suggesting a possible connection to the machine's playing-card theme.

One of the most striking aspects of the Maba Belotte is its unique theme — playing cards — a subject not commonly found among pinball games. The gameplay centers on 19 trap holes, which would have made for an unpredictable experience, as it's difficult to judge a ball's trajectory without clear visual cues.

Unfortunately, no further information is available about the Maba Belotte's designer, manufacturer, or date of production. Despite the lack of documentation, it remains an intriguing piece of pinball history, offering a glimpse into a card-themed corner of pure mechanical game design.
