Gorth

Gorth, a little-documented pinball machine from PLAY-21 S.A. of Madrid, Spain, is a Solid State Electronic (SS) machine with a fantasy theme. Its exact year of production is unknown, and few historical details about the company or the game have surfaced, making it a curiosity among European pinball collectors.

Gorth's gameplay combines two flippers, three pop bumpers, and three stand-up targets with two slingshots, a 4-bank drop target, and a kick-out hole. The game also includes a messenger ball feature, adding an extra wrinkle to how the ball moves through the playfield.

Beyond its documented specifications, little is known about Gorth's designer, artist, or theme inspiration. Its European origin and fantasy setting make it an intriguing but still largely unresearched entry in pinball history, one that may reward further digging by collectors and historians.
