Trump's Secret Service
About This Machine
Trump is a re-themed pinball machine released in March 2020, built on a Data East/Sega Version 2 solid-state platform. Rather than an original design, it takes Data East's 1988 machine 'Secret Service' and re-skins it with a politics-parody theme while retaining Secret Service's original sounds and music; only one unit is confirmed to exist.
The underlying hardware carries over Secret Service's layout: three flippers, three pop bumpers, two spinning targets, a 5-bank drop target, a kick-out hole, and an up-post between the flippers, along with digital stereo speech and music synchronized with light effects and alphanumeric displays. A large flash-effect box tops the backbox.
Because it is a one-off re-theme rather than a mass-produced title, little is documented about who created the Trump conversion or its manufacturer; its main interest lies in its novelty as a topical parody built on a familiar late-1980s Data East platform.
