About This Machine

Cosmic Cart Racing is a conversion kit for Multimorphic, Inc.'s P3 pinball platform, released in October 2018 with a Space Fantasy theme. It was conceived and designed by Gerry Stellenberg with TJ Weaver, with art by Rory Cernuda, Jackson Gee, and Scott Gullicks, and sound and software by Stellenberg.

Rather than a standalone cabinet, the kit consists of a wood upper playfield module with its own artwork and mechanics, a vertical wooden backboard, and five magnetic artwork pieces for the cabinet, backbox, and apron, all designed to be installed into an existing P3 machine. Gameplay features four standup targets and three magnets; the magnets on the ramp can thrust the ball forward or lock it in place, supporting the game's multiball mode.

Priced at $2,499 when new (with translites, apron, and cabinet art sold separately), Cosmic Cart Racing was one of several interchangeable playfield modules Multimorphic offered for the P3 platform, letting owners swap in a new game experience without buying an entirely new machine.
