Round

Round is a mysterious electro-mechanical pinball machine of unknown manufacture and unknown production date. Its very existence is documented only through a single backglass, seen in a metal frame on an Italian collector website -- no playfield, cabinet, or confirmed manufacturer has surfaced.

The backglass depicts two boxers fighting in a ring at its center, with a photographer capturing the moment from the lower right, and windows above the ring tracking scores for two players. "Balls To Play 1 2 3 4 5" appears in the lower right corner, and the game's name, Round, appears at middle-left above five silkscreened colored balls typical of extra-ball indicators on Italian EM machines.

Italian collector Federico Croci believes the backglass may be part of an early kit produced by RMG, possibly related to games like Gottlieb's 1966 Hyde Park (Italy), and notes that this same backglass has been seen paired with two different boxing-themed playfields. Beyond the backglass artwork and its boxing theme, no gameplay details, designer credits, or production information for Round are currently known, leaving it one of pinball history's more obscure puzzles.
