Deadpool (Limited Edition)
About This Machine
The Deadpool (Limited Edition) pinball machine, designed by George Gomez and manufactured by Stern Pinball in 2018, is a standout title that combines humor, action, and innovative gameplay. As one of several licensed theme pins from Marvel's popular character, it marks an exciting milestone for the company. This solid-state electronic game showcases the company's continued commitment to creating immersive experiences for players.
What sets Deadpool apart are its unique features and gameplay mechanics. The machine boasts a range of interactive elements, including flippers, pop bumpers, slingshots, standup targets, electric gates, spinning targets, and four-bank drop targets. One of the most impressive aspects is the vertical up-kicker with scoop, which feeds balls to the right flipper return lane via an aerial trough designed like a Japanese samurai sword. This creative design not only adds visual flair but also enhances gameplay by creating challenging paths for the ball.
The pin's artwork and design elements are equally noteworthy. The mirrored backglass replaces traditional translite art, while the playfield side wall blades feature red powder-coated metal flake accents that add a pop of color to the game. The high-definition anti-reflection playfield glass ensures an unobstructed view of the action, complementing the machine's high-powered speaker system with separate treble and bass adjustments. Overall, the Deadpool pinball machine is a true showstopper for collectors and enthusiasts alike, offering a thrilling experience that combines humor, excitement, and technical innovation.
