Iron Maiden Legacy Of The Beast (Limited Edition)
About This Machine
The Iron Maiden Legacy of the Beast Limited Edition is Stern Pinball's top-tier 2018 release built around the British heavy metal band, designed by Keith Elwin with artwork by Jeremy Packer. Limited to a confirmed run of 500 units, each LE was autographed by Elwin and shipped with a serialized number plate and a Certificate of Authenticity signed by Gary Stern.
Gameplay features four flippers, three pop bumpers, two slingshots, two spinning targets, two Newton ball targets, a captive ball, a 3-bank drop target, and an elevating center ramp with a gate at its top. Two molded "Piece of Mind Eddie" and "Cyborg Eddie" figures serve as the game's toys. The LE adds premium touches over the Pro and Premium models, including a shaker motor, a custom shooter knob, powder-coated metallic red hinge, lockdown bar and side armor, a powder-coated steel bottom arch, a mirrored backglass in place of a translite, and anti-reflection playfield glass.
As with the Premium, the Mummy captive-ball feature uses a switch-closing Newton ball target rather than the static post found on most games, and the Clairvoyant feature is a standalone Newton ball target. With its rarity, premium finish, and Elwin's shot design, the Limited Edition is the most sought-after of the three Iron Maiden Legacy of the Beast models among collectors.
