About This Machine
Iron Maiden Legacy of the Beast (Pro) is Stern Pinball's 2018 tribute to the British heavy metal band, designed by Keith Elwin with artwork by Jeremy Packer (Zombie Yeti). It arrived as part of a wave of Stern music-themed licenses, giving Iron Maiden fans a dedicated machine built around the band's imagery and sound.
Gameplay centers on four flippers, three pop bumpers, two slingshots, two spinning targets, a captive ball with a Newton ball post, and a 3-bank drop target that rewards precise shooting. Running on Stern's SPIKE 2 system, the game favors fast, modern rule sets and quick-reset mechanisms.
Visually, the Pro trades a traditional backglass for a translite, and the cabinet and playfield art lean into Iron Maiden's signature Eddie imagery. With its blend of solid shot-making and band-themed presentation, Legacy of the Beast (Pro) has become a popular entry point into the Legacy of the Beast family of games.
