Released in 2018, this solid-state electronic pinball machine is part of a limited edition run and boasts an officially licensed theme that brings the swashbuckling adventure to life on the playfield.
Gameplay-wise, Pirates of the Caribbean offers a thrilling experience with its five flippers, four pop bumpers, three slingshots, and 27 stand-up targets. The machine's unique feature is the variable-speed rocking elevated mini-playfield, which adds an extra layer of challenge and excitement to the gameplay. Players can also take advantage of the ball cannon attached to the upper mini-playfield, whose trajectory changes as it rocks up and down. Additionally, the target ship on the left side provides a distinctive shot, allowing players to aim for accuracy or hit the hole for bonus points.
The machine's design and art are equally impressive, with clear-coated playfield, black texture powder-coated legs, and a backglass made of actual glass rather than translucent material. The cabinet art is done in decals, adding to the overall pirate-themed aesthetic. Notably, the machine features a 72-light display on the playfield back panel, a 27-inch LCD on the backbox, and a 5 Speaker 2.1 stereo surround system for an immersive audio experience. As one of Jersey Jack Pinball's notable releases, Pirates of the Caribbean (Limited Edition) is sure to captivate pinball enthusiasts with its engaging gameplay, unique design elements, and licensed theme.
