About This Machine

Lexy Lightspeed Secret Agent Showdown, released by Multimorphic, Inc. on July 28, 2017, is a software-only "mini-game" download designed to run on the LL-EE upper-playfield module from the company's Lexy Lightspeed Escape From Earth kit, installed in a P3 machine. Rather than shipping its own hardware module, it repurposes the existing playfield to deliver a distinct set of rules and game-specific imagery on the lower-playfield LCD.

Cabinet artwork was created by Stephen Silver, with in-game (LCD) artwork by Rory Cernuda and software by Gerry Stellenberg. Its Fantasy - Science Fiction theme leans into an espionage-tinged "secret agent" storyline, distinguishing it from the base Escape From Earth game despite sharing the same physical playfield hardware.

As with other P3 mini-games, Secret Agent Showdown does not come with its own magnetic cabinet art panels, though a game-specific translite was available at extra cost — underscoring how the P3 platform lets a single hardware setup host multiple distinct game experiences through software alone.
