About This Machine
AC/DC (Premium Vault Edition), designed by Steve Ritchie, is a reissue of Stern's 2012 'AC/DC (Premium),' released by Stern Pinball in July 2017 and running on the S.A.M. board system. It carried an MSRP of $7,699 when new.
As part of Stern's Vault Edition series, this release reintroduces the original Premium-model AC/DC design — built around the band's licensed music theme — for a new generation of buyers, at a higher price point than the standard Pro model reflecting its premium-tier features.
Detailed specifics of this particular reissue's playfield features, toys, and software credits beyond its lineage as a reissue of the 2012 Premium are not fully documented in available records.
